Art

The Artistic Journey

Much like in music, if you are thinking, "I'm not that patient of a person to learn art.", then you should be learning art. Especially if you are the type of person who 'doodles', or prefers things on your paper instead of a blank paper. It IS a process to learn how to learn art, but again, it is a VERY fulfilling process.

The practice of creating your own art can be a very personal process. It is the development of your skill in putting your ideas onto paper, sculpture, or other mediums. It takes time to develop your critical eye, to see what you want to reproduce, and it takes time to refine your skill in putting it onto paper

Part of the fun is the sharing your art with others, and having others get some enjoyment and meaning from it as well. A lot of artists (and musicians) are afraid of showing their work-whether that is performing for others, or showing people their art creations. One thing I have discovered is that the majority of people WANT to celebrate your achievements with you. Do NOT miss out on the opportunity of letting others see your work. You will get feedback from it, and it will impact others as well.

PLUS, you remember that thought about not having enough patience? Well, the more you exercise patience, the more you will have!
